Welcome to Island Tradition Federal
Island Tradition Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by the members who save and borrow here. If you want to start a regular savings program, borrow money to buy a car, or just take care of your routine personal financial business quickly and easily, we can help.
Like all credit unions, Island Tradition Federal Credit Union provides personal financial services to individuals who share a common bond, such as employment, association membership, or place of residence. While banks must earn profits to satisfy their shareholders, credit unions exist only to serve their members. So when you do business with us, you’ll enjoy a better return on your savings and lower loan rates while paying fewer fees than at most banks.
In addition, to a variety of savings programs and low-cost auto and personal loans, Island Tradition Federal Credit Union also offers checking accounts with free ATM access and free direct deposit of paychecks, Social Security checks, pension checks and other regular payments.
All member accounts at Island Tradition Federal Credit Union are federally insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund. This fund is administered by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government, and protects all accounts up to $250,000 per member.
